Fuck You Peter Shipley

I want everyone to know that this person is a crazy, dangerous asshole: people.tribe.net/peter_shipley

This man assaulted Davor with pepperspray (or mace, still not sure) today at santacon. My eyes still sting from the residue I got on my hands when I wiped away the painful tears of my sweetheart and I in turn later accidentally touched near my own eyes. This jackass of a human also inadvertently sprayed other nearby patrons (santas) of the restaurant. Fuck You Asshole. You are not welcome near me nor my community - you are a cowardly asshole and I hope to never, EVER see your face in my presence again.

Never having asked such a thing before, and coming from a place of the most true and bitter sincerity, I implore each of you in this community to blackball this jerk in all ways, shapes and forms.

    Whoa, that was Shipley? All I saw were the three cop cars and one or two paramedics trucks outside Jupiter as I walked up, plus Santas moving along to the next bar, so I joined them in moving along.

    Afterwards I remarked "Who the hell thinks 'Oh yeah, can't forget my pepperspray!' when getting ready for SantaCon?"

    Thanks for the heads up Muse. I often wonder about people who have only pictures of themselves on their profiles.... tons of em.... like do they get off on looking at themselves all the time or do they lack friends? I guess I can think and ponder out loud for once..... why not?

        there is no justificaiton for pepper sraying santa, not when there are plenty of other santas around even "if" a person feels threatend.. what a jerk.

            that is beyond fucked up. i knew he was verbally abusive but didn't realize he was physically abusive as well. i took him off my friends list. aside from the altercation with davor, he got my roommate and his girlfriend in the process. who the fuck brings pepper spray to santacon - and discharges it in a crowded bar? shipley is a menace.

              We were part of the SF contingent that bought tickets for the boat to Oakland but never actually got to GET ON the boat because it was full. The pepper spay incident was one we were glad to have missed. Its unfortunate that someone thought for some reason it was needed. Was Davor molesting an Elf ? As far as Im aware thats what that spray is for, to fend of rapists. People can be so clueless.

              He also assaulted Leslie in at the Hunger Ball about two weeks ago, calling her a crack whore and throwing a drink at her. It took two guys to hold him back and physically remove him from the situation. He also spat at Spanky & threw a drink at her about a year ago. I took him off my friends and dont want anything to do with him. I've had him walk up to me and start screaming profanities and make up ridiculous accusations so many times, I can't even count them.

    I sincerely hope this guy is DONE now. The hacking, invasion of privacy, and cybercrime was bad enough, but now he's taken that attitude into "RL". He got verbally abusive with my girl at Cat Club a couple weeks ago, there was the spitting incident, and I understand that he's menaced others lately. There are many ways to tell someone they're unacceptable; I move that the community goes for the "drub him out of town" route with this jackass.

    And for the love of Mike press charges, make sure the prosecutor does his job right, and don't accept any deals. Put him away.

        What kind of a pussy bitch brings pepper spray to Santa Con? When I first got to the Jupiter I made a beeline for the bathroom and there was a young woman in there trying to wash the pepper spray out of her swollen eyes and she told me the story when I expressed concerned for for. WTF? I was shocked. What a fucking sack lesion this Peter Shipley person is. Great way to give us all a good name. The staff at Jupiter were actually pretty cool considering and if it weren't for the fact we were in Berkeley, Shipley would be in jail with a billy-clubbed skull no doubt. The cips out here tend to be a bit more easy going. So, what happened to the fucker? Did he get arrested? Run home? Get his ass beat?

            I saw shipley get cold water dumped on him, then out came the pepper spray- he dosed everyone around him- not just davor. My friend Jeremey was splashed with it and he was sitting across the fountain- about 30 feet away! He had to go home because hours later the spray was still bothering him.
            Not sure of the before story, but pepperspray seems to be an excessive use of force in a crowded resturaunt for getting a probable well deserved drink in yer face.

      There is one thing that didn't get discussed so far.

      Were there kids at this Santacon ? THe Sacramento Santacon had a couple of kids, one 4 month old infant and another little guy about 5-6 years of age ? Any kids at the SF Santacon ? If there were kids around and the asshole took out pepperspray and randomly sprayed - this could have been a lot lot worse. I am glad I didn't go with Gracie .

        Normally, there are only the civilian kids around... the Sacto Santacon is way more tame compared to when you get 400-600 Santi....

        We loved the Sacto Santacon for that reason, and will be back next year again.. but I also love the debauchery and fall down drunk on my face of the SF Santacon...

        and no matter what, in a group of Santa, there is never cause to use pepper spray... Santa will protect Santa, even from Santa.. you just need to shout out a Ho Ho Help...

        I'm friends with a few officers from the Berkeley Po-Po. Please let me know the name of the Officer who took the report. Was it Rittenhause or Ko? I'll be sure to follow up with my buddy Ofr. Pierantoni who is the Area Coordinator for Beat 4 (which is the beat Jupiter is on). Sounds like this bitch-ass motherfucker (no offense to those who like to fuck mothers) has a history of being aviolent pussy. Time for him to be taken down. Don't make me get my cop friends involved, fuckhead.

          I hear he has a habit is spitting on people too. That alone is assault. These days it's considered a major deal because of the possibility of disease. It could be interpreted as attempted murder if you are diseased and know it.

            Oh, he's diseased alright, but with what is the question.

            I just emailed Ofc. Pierantoni. He's out until 12/26 but when I hear back from him, I'll let you all know what his advice/info/etc. is. I'm taking it someone filed a police report? Was Shipley arrested? Take off before the cops came? I caught the tail end so am not sure of the chain of events. Any info would help when I speak to Pierantoni. We want charges pressed at the very least, right?

                While spitting in one's face is generally considered assault these days, I'd like to point out that the risk of disease transmission is pretty minimal, as saliva doesn't carry a high HIV or Hepatitis B or C load.
                With that being said, I still think that guy is a motherfucker, and he should be appropriately reprimanded.

        Tapandy- I don't think that we need to haul out a "omg think of the children!" here. If anyone was stupid enough to have a kid in a BAR full of Santas... Well, goes without saying.

        I think the fact that someone got peppersprayed is bad enough without any hypothetical hysterics about spawn potentially being involved
