It was funny...in Berkeley there were 2 kids (probably around 10 or so) walking and they came up to me and asked if I had any candy (which I had and gave some).
Maybe they're thinking it's some sort of weird Halloween-in-reverse thing, but somehow I thought that funny.
Unless they just go around asking for candy from anyone.
Oh yeah, also gave out some kisses.

A teenager asked if he could have a penguin. I told him if he wanted one he had to blow it up on the spot. "It's one of the rules. If you want the penguin you have to blow him here." He was too embarassed so he asked if his mom could do it. With a straight face I said, "Sure, your mom can blow the penguin." His mom had no idea what was going on when she walked up but she agreed. So I gave her a santa hat as she started blowing. When she ran out of breath she asked if her son could help. Again I managed to keep a straight face when I told her "Sure, you both can tag team the penguin. You just have to blow him here." Working together they managed inflate the penguin till he was fully erect. It gives santa a warm fuzzy knowing her brought a mother and son together blowing a penguin. -
