It was fun/new to be in OAK/Berk. I just wish we'd have known a week in advance. I live in SSF, but 90% of my friends live in Oakland. If it were not for this fact and my wanting to be with them, I would have stayed in the city with those Santi.

My hat is in the ring for planning a Santa bar crawl for next year. I hope there is also a con. But we'll see.

One thing is that there was so much I missed from last year. I loved the Santa games in the park. I loved Hooters and Klezmer band. I loved riding the escallators in Macy's. And I missed walking around in SF, it's such a grand place and I hardly ever get to go there. But I'm in Berkeley and Oakland all the time.

no complaints. I got hurt.. my feet are wrecked. My body is damaged. I got drunk of my own accord. As for the organizers... I feel so bad for them. They do all this planning... (whether it is good or bad) and get ripped apart.

Thanks for what you do, anyhoo.

All I say is next year we find the highest concentration of bars in the shortest amount of distance. I want to hit more bars next year. I brought so much booze, if I had hit more, I would have been dead on the spot. So I guess it all went perfectly.

I can appreciate all the work that went into the planning of this event, which wound up not being as cool as I thought, and most of my group said it was much more lame than last year.

Where our organizers failed us was in not letting us know the event was not going to be in the city. I was expecting a San Francisco event, not an Oakland event. Talk about bait and switch.

It would also have been nice to know in advance to buy ferry tickets. I could have done that on line or prior to the meet up at pier 39.

I think they should have released the stops like Portland did. I don't like all the secrecy. But had they told us in advance that we'd be in OAK. I bet half the Santas or better would have stayed in SF with the ones who couldn't get on the boat.

      I'd give this a grade of C-.
