Alright, coalbait, listen up, because this is the only announcement you're going to get: Santa rides this Saturday, December 20th, from noon to midnight (and beyond)! There is even a special Friday night pre-funk for the desperately drunk among you.

But, before I give you grubby little ho's any details, I want you to memorize the Four Fucks. Santa's been the subject of frequent media/police attention lately, and Santa DOES NOT WANT. So BEHAVE, or BEHOED.

1. Don't fuck with kids.
2. Don't fuck with cops.
3. Don't fuck with security.
4. Don't fuck with Santa. (it's okay to fuck a Santa)

Sondra Fortunato went to Giants Stadium last week wearing a Santa Claus outfit, a tiara, fishnet stockings, a bathing suit bottom and high-heeled boots.

She also had a suitcase and two 11-by-17 signs reading “Go Giants” and “Have a No Guns Christmas,” referring to the team’s wide receiver shooting himself in the leg.

She insists nothing naughty was showing even though she’s “well-endowed.” As the middle-aged woman puts it, “You couldn’t even see my underwear.”

The Giants apparently saw it another way.

Security escorted her out, saying signs and baggage weren’t allowed and telling her to cover up because there were children present. She figures other women “got jealous and complained.”

I'm reposting this from the Carols post as it's very important for all Santas to read and understand.

Twisting the holiday paradigm until it screams for mercy is fun! Getting arrested is not. Santa Claus is friendly, respectful, and cooperative with cops, security guards, park rangers, secret service agents, and store owners and doesn't break any laws!!!

Have your own special twisted fun, but DON'T FUCK IT UP FOR THE REST OF US. Our santas do not destroy property, steal merchandise, or do harm to others. The authorities and local businesses usually take Santa's antics in the loving holiday spirit Santa intends, so be nice to them.

If you can't show up for the start, get the cell number of someone who can help you catch up later.

Santa does not make children cry. Really - If you see kids, give them nice toys, candy, or something pleasant. (Feel free to abuse their parents.)

Santa dresses for all occasions. It's December. Smart Santas wear mutliple costume layers. Dress to maximize merriment whether singing Xmas carols in the snow, or swinging from a stripper pole.

Bring gifts -- NAUGHTY gifts to give grown ups; NICE stuff to give kids.

Watching Santa get drunk and obnoxious is fun. Babysitting Santa while they vomit in an alley is not. Don't be that Santa.

Pay your own god damn bar tab. Tip the bartenders generously for putting up with us.

Memorize these answers to important questions that may arise:
Q: Who's in charge?
A: Santa.

Q: What organization are you with?
A: Santa.

Q: What are you protesting?
A: Shitty holiday parties. (note: WE ARE NOT PROTESTERS!! We'd need a permit for that - and something serious to complain about...)

SF Santacon Pre-Party: Sex With No Hands at the Rock-It Room on Dec. 12!

Santa’s favorite party band, Sex With No Hands (www.sexwithnohands.com, www.myspace.com/sexwithnohands) will be welcoming in Santacon 2008 with a pre-party show, Friday December 12th at the Rock-It Room (at 406 Clement @ 5th Ave) in San Francisco’s Inner Richmond neighborhood at 9:30 pm. Tickets are $8 and can be purchased at the door. We’ve got new songs, new instruments and sexy santa suits!

Come warm up your santa suits for the main event the next day and come join the pre-party the night before! Sex With No Hands (aka Santa’s Klezmer Band) will also be at Santacon. It’s a weekend of drunk santa cheer!

Houston Santa Con 2008

We will be doing Mistletoe Madness on Saturday December 6 on and arouynd 19th street.After that we join the other santa group (Ours is largely an art car based group).
After that we join the Santa Con group:

This year our SantaCon will hit mid-town starting at 6pm. We will spend about an hour at each place. So if you don't join on the first stop you can catch us on the next...

Santa's sleigh will follow this route:
The Wet Spot 6pm
The Front Porch 7:15
Christians Tailgate 8:30
Little Woodrows mid-town 10:00
Dog House Tavern 11:15
Open City 12:30

Also, we’re joining in the Santa Thriller Dance movement... so if you're game here is a video to start the practice for the Santa Thriller dance. If all the Santa’s can learn the moves then we'll do the Thriller Dance this year down the streets in mid-town. Why you ask...because we can, after all we are Santa!! The more people that learn the dance, the more impressive it’ll be. So don't be a wall flower and get your butt on the dance floor!

Thats right its happening this weekend. Our first one ever!! Hope everyone got there costumes together!! We have updated the website with our tentative schedule. Remember it is always subject to change (depending on where we might get kicked out of). Also we have updated the starting time to 7pm. If anyone wants to be on the phone text update just for that night please e-mail me your cell phone numbers and I will text you when we are arriving and leaving places, just in case anyone gets left behind. I have a few extra santa costume pieces if anyone didn't get a chance to get the santa suit together. Please let me know if you need them and I will bring them to our first meeting point which will be my boyfriend Patricks office on Agua Fria. Looking forward to spreading some holiday cheer for everyone to hear!!!

I can't yet tell if this is funny or not. I usually assist in organizing the Bellingham con. Yeah, I know that's not funny, hold on I'm getting there. So this year I've committed to organizing as hard as I did last year which in itself was a joke. I called the date for '08 without vote. I just realized that I'll be out of town.

Santacon In MIAMI?

Last year some people tried to get one together in Miami.. it was kind of a mess and only a small handful of people showed up.. I would like to get a REAL one together this year.. Date and time are open depending on how many people and what is easiest for us all. HOWEVER..... I think December 13th in Miami to coincide with the Wynwood second saturday artwalk would be ideal. If that doesn't work out, maybe some other date in Fort Lauderdale...??

I KNOW we can do better!!! If anybody knows of another group in miami/fort lauderdale or wants to help me get this together PLEASE contact me!! thanks !!!

I would like to organize a small santacon at work for a x mas meeting /party.

( i figure it would be fun) .. where do I start? Do I just have every on dress up as santa? Are there Santacon games and/or activities? If the small trial run works out I will definally try it on a grand scale for 2009.
